Shiatsu

Shiatsu in Japanese means "pressing with the fingers".
It is a Japanese manual therapy based on Traditional Chinese Medicine with elements of western therapies. The Shiatsu technique mostly relies on finger and palm pressure along the body energetic network and focuses on acupressure points.

In addition to pressure techniques, shiatsu practitioners may also incorporate stretching, joint mobilization, and gentle manipulation to further enhance the therapeutic effects of the treatment.

Shiatsu is a gentle , pain alleviating, stress relieving, health promoting complementary treatment. The treatment takes place on a traditional Japanese Futon mattress and the client remains clothed during the whole process ,wearing loose and comfortable clothing which allows non-restrictive movement.
